He has been a member of the American Society for Quality since 1987, a Senior Member of ASQ since 1993, and an ASQ Certified Quality Auditor since 1989. He has also held numerous positions on the Board for the Chicago Section, ASQ. Dan is also an instructor for the Training Institute of the Chicago Section, ASQ and a Competent Toastmaster in Toastmasters International.

Mr. Brown holds a Bachelor of Science in biology from Aurora University and a Certificate in Quality Management in Manufacturing from DePaul University. He has completed the Lead Assessor Certification Workshop from Stat-A-Matrix Institute.
