Tim Hawkins has 40 years of manufacturing management in production, quality, material control, ERP, administration, customer service, purchasing, distribution, sales & engineering. Progressing through the ranks of Management from a Group Lead, Supervisor, Foreman, Production Manager, Manufacturing Manager, and Kaizen Promotion Officer (KPO) has led him to a keen understanding and appreciation of the need to implement Lean concepts.

Tim has performed numerous kaizen/continuous improvement events utilizing Lean, TPS techniques & philosophy. Other career highlights included consulting for 2 years as Manufacturing Specialist with the Chicago Manufacturing Center providing Lean Training and Implementation, creator and leader of problem solving teams in a Total Quality Management System resolving issues highlighted by ISO 9001-2000 or customer and training and implementation of self-directed work teams while developing future leaders and creating a positive work environment.
His certifications include: CPIM – APICS, American Production & Inventory Control Society, Certified Lean Expert – Watlow Manufacturing, 4 week curriculum, Kaizen Promotion Officer – 2 years Culligan International, ISO 9000 Lead Auditor Training, Midwest Industrial Management Association (MIMA) – Trainer: Supervisor Development and Computer Technician, E-5 US Army Signal Corps – 3 years.

Mr. Hawkins received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Major Accounting from Elmhurst College and earned an MBA from Northern Illinois University.
