Bernie Hosey
 

Bernie Hosey, P.E., is an I.T. professional with the unique asset of having actual engineering experience.  After working for eight years as a consulting mechanical engineer and obtaining his professional engineering license in Illinois, he started Engineered I.T. Inc. to deliver practical information technology services for small and mid-sized businesses. Focused on the manufacturing sector, Bernie develops and implements the best solutions for his customers, including custom websites, search engine optimization, and database consulting services.

Bernie works with small to mid-sized firms that do not want an “army” of consultants.  His technology services to manufacturers focus on the following:

• Leveraging company websites with search engine optimization; generating quality website traffic; converting that traffic to leads and those leads to sales
• Custom website solutions that are effective sales and marketing tools; maximizing service to existing customers for the best possible customer experience; and a unique process for continuous improvement of website return on investment;
• Database consulting services to protect and leverage one of a company’s most valuable assets… its data.

Bernie’s technical areas of expertise are in: Microsoft .NET, IIS web servers, CSS/html, Google Analytics, Visual Basic, Microsoft SQL Server, and Microsoft Access.

Bernie has a Bachelor of Science Degree in mechanical engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology and is a licensed professional engineer in the state of Illinois. For eight years, he worked in mechanical systems design for two highly regarded professional service firms, and is quite comfortable working with a wide range of manufacturing, engineering, and professional service companies.
